There are three ways to book this hotel: a suite, an apartment of two to four bedrooms, or the whole private chalet for twenty guests. Fouquet’s Gstaad opens on 4 December 2026 at Gsteigstrasse 70, and the choice between those three is the first thing to settle.
It is the newest address of the Fouquet’s collection after Paris, New York, Courchevel, Saint-Barth and Mykonos, and the first of them in Switzerland. The hotel stands in the village, a few minutes from the station, at the address where Ultima Gstaad received guests before it.

Suite, apartment or the whole chalet
Three ways to book it

Eleven suites Junior, Signature, Family, Pearl, Prestige and the Presidential suite. Fireplaces, balconies, mountains in the window. |
![]() |
Six apartments From two to four bedrooms, plus the Royal apartment. Together with the suites the hotel counts 33 rooms. |
![]() |
One private chalet Nine bedrooms over four floors, 1,500 sq m, up to twenty guests, with a cinema, a games room, a night club, a spa of its own and a private chef. |
For a family of four the Family suite is the straightforward answer. For two couples travelling together the three-bedroom apartment works better than two suites, because the sitting room is shared. Above eight guests the chalet stops being an extravagance and starts being the cheaper arithmetic per bedroom.

Water, heat and a Tokyo kitchen
What is inside
- A spa of more than 800 sq m around a 15-metre indoor pool, with saunas, a hammam and hot tubs. Treatments are by Augustinus Bader.
- Movement. A Technogym room, a yoga studio, reformer pilates and a beauty salon.
- Zuma, as a pop-up for the season. Contemporary Japanese, described by the group as bringing the energy of Tokyo to Gstaad.
- A bar on the ground floor, which the hotel has not yet named.

A pop-up means the kitchen comes for the season rather than for good, so the Zuma menu belongs to this winter. The hotel has not said what follows it.

Gsteigstrasse 70
Where it stands
Gstaad is a village of 1,050 metres with a station of its own on the MOB line and a promenade closed to cars. Around it lie nine ski areas and 200 km of pistes between 1,000 and 3,000 metres, and Glacier 3000 above them runs from 7 November to 30 April. Our guide to Gstaad for winter 2026/27 covers the sectors, the season dates and the music festivals.
The collection opens two Alpine addresses on the same day. Fouquet’s Courchevel takes its first guests on 4 December as well. One sits in the busiest resort of the French Alps, the other in a Swiss village with a train in the middle of it.

Before the first season
What is open for booking
Opening offers
The hotel has published no opening rates or packages so far. A first season sells out of its best weeks early, and the chalet is a single booking for the whole house, so the Christmas and February weeks are the ones that go first. We will check what is available for your dates and hold it.
Who this hotel is for
- Groups of eight to twenty. The chalet is the real argument here, with its own spa, cinema and chef.
- Families who want space rather than rooms. Apartments of two to four bedrooms with one sitting room.
- Anyone who travels by train. The station is minutes away and the village needs no car.
- Guests who spend half the day indoors. Eight hundred square metres of spa for 33 rooms is a generous ratio.
We book the suites, the apartments and the chalet. Tell us the dates and the number of guests, and we will put the options together, confirm what is free and hold it. Availability is confirmed at the moment of booking.
