Courchevel Winter 2025/2026: Events Calendar, World Cup and Exclusive Leisure

📅 December 2025: Season Start and Christmas Magic

 

The winter season kicks off with powerful sporting competitions and culminates in spectacular holidays.

 

  • December 5: Official Season Opening in Courchevel 1850. The slopes are open, and hotels and residences are ready to welcome guests.

  • December 16: FIS Alpine Ski World Cup (Women’s Slalom). Night Slalom at the Émile-Allais Stadium. Program starts at 4:00 PM, second run at 8:45 PM. Grand ceremony and fireworks at 9:45 PM.

  • December 24: Christmas Eve. Enjoy the traditional torchlight descent (5:15 PM) and the arrival of Santa Claus (5:30 PM). All restaurants offer special gala dinners this evening.

  • December 26–29: Festive shows, concerts, and entertainment in the resort center.

Expert Tip: To enjoy the torchlight descent, fireworks, or the World Cup ceremony away from the crowds, book accommodation with a view of the resort center or the stadium. Specifically, Apartment La Loze and Apartment Chalet Hotel de La Loze  are located centrally, just steps from the Croisette, offering perfect privacy.

🎆 January — March 2026: Fireworks and Major Sports

 

The holidays continue, giving way to major international events and winter festivals.

 

  • December 31: New Year’s Eve Fireworks (midnight). 12-14 minutes of pyrotechnic show above the Croisette.

  • January: International Fireworks Festival. Teams from around the world put on pyrotechnic shows against the backdrop of the Alps.

  • March 14–15: Men’s Alpine Ski World Cup. Men’s Downhill on the challenging L’Éclipse slope (Le Praz).
