VIEW OFFERS

Arabba sits at 1,645 m below the Sella massif, in the comune of Livinallongo del Col di Lana, and it is the steep corner of the Dolomites. Where most of the region is gentle and sunny, the north-facing slopes above Arabba hold their snow and their pitch, which is why stronger skiers base themselves here.
How to get there: Venice and Treviso are the nearest airports, with Innsbruck over the Brenner. The approach is by road over the Pordoi or Campolongo passes.
Slopes and lifts: the Arabba-Marmolada sector holds 62 km of slopes with 27 lifts, and connects directly to the Marmolada glacier, the highest peak in the Dolomites at 3,342 m.
The Sellaronda: Arabba is one of the starting points of the Sellaronda, the circuit around the Sella massif that links the Badia, Gardena and Fassa valleys on skis. The whole Dolomiti Superski pass covers more than 1,200 km across twelve areas.
What the skiing is like: north-facing and steep by Dolomite standards, with the Marmolada above it. A small village with a big ski area behind it.
Where you stay: Arabba is a village rather than a town, hotels and apartments close to the lifts, and quiet in the evening.
