Opening on 5 December 2026. Barma Residence is a collection of 70 apartments in the new Barma building in La Tania, one of the six villages of Courchevel, at 1,400 metres. The building sits right on the slopes of the Three Valleys: the Moretta piste runs straight to the ski room, and the gondola is less than 50 metres away on skis — true ski-in/ski-out. The same building houses the four-star Barma Hotel & Spa, and residence guests have access to its restaurants, spa and services. Barma is the second address of La French Collection, the hotel brand of the Giboire group.
The residence offers 11 apartment categories, from one to six bedrooms, 33 to 185 m², for 2 to 12 guests. The architecture is by Atelier Plexus, in stone and wood, with balconies and terraces on every floor. The interiors are by the Lyon studio Atelier Giffon: wood and fir cladding on the ceilings and some walls, stone-effect tiles in the bathrooms, tartan, bouclé, wool and a light, bright palette. Every apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, a living room opening onto a balcony or terrace, Wi-Fi and a Chromecast TV. Bed and bath linen and end-of-stay cleaning are included.
Residence guests have a dedicated reception with concierge, the La Table de Barma restaurant and bars (by reservation), a gourmet grocery of Savoie produce, delivery from the hotel boutique to the apartments, a ski room with private heated lockers, ski hire and an ESF desk in the building. The Susanne Kaufmann spa and indoor pool are available at an extra charge, by reservation. Breakfast can be added: at the restaurant or delivered to the apartment.
La Table de Barma. A contemporary Alpine brasserie: Savoyard classics — fondue, raclette, tartiflette, creamy polenta, braised meats — given a modern treatment, with produce from farmers and cheesemakers in Savoie and Haute-Savoie. An open kitchen and a show-cooking station. 130 seats inside and a terrace facing the slopes. Lunch runs continuously from 11:00 to 18:30, dinner from 18:30 to 22:00. Children can have dishes in smaller portions.
Terrace and après-ski bar. A south-facing terrace on the Moretta piste with a central oval bar, fire pits and sun loungers for up to 50 guests. Lunch in the sun by day; après-ski after the last run, with DJ sets on some evenings.
Lounge bar. A fireside bar for 40 guests, with signature cocktails and mocktails by the mixologist and a selection of Alpine spirits.
Barma delicatessen. The flavours of Savoie: regional specialities, wines, fondue and raclette kits and homemade dishes, to take away. Separately, the hotel delivers products from its boutique to the apartments.
The Susanne Kaufmann spa takes its name from the Austrian natural skincare house built on Alpine botanicals. Four treatment rooms, one of them a double: massages, facials, body treatments and bespoke programmes. The spa is filled with daylight and looks out over the slopes.
An indoor pool with two basins and floor-to-ceiling windows, hot tubs, a sauna, a hammam, a relaxation area and a tisanerie serving Alpine herbal infusions. Alongside, a beauty studio (hair, barbering, manicures, make-up) and a fitness studio equipped by NOHRD and WaterRower, with yoga, Pilates and personal training by appointment.
The pool and fitness studio are open from 9:00 to 21:00, the spa from 10:00 to 20:00 for guests aged 16 and over. Children may use the pool until 18:30 with an adult. For residence guests, spa and pool access is at an extra charge, by reservation.
