Lys Martagon is a five-star hotel of seven rooms and suites in the Bellecôte district of Courchevel 1850. Guests put their skis on in the hotel’s private ski room and go straight onto the Bellecôte piste — true ski-in/ski-out — and the Courchevel altiport is about 10 minutes away by car. In the words of its CEO, Christophe Callarec, the hotel grew out of a family chalet. Today it offers 2,000 m² of space for up to 20 guests: four Deluxe Rooms, two Junior Suites and the 70 m² Prestige Suite.
The interiors bring together Art Deco elegance, traditional materials, fine fabrics and works of art. The hotel holds paintings by the Impressionist Armand Guillaumin, mosaics of coloured Sicis glass, back-lit stained-glass panels and ceilings designed by the Russian illustrator Pavel Orinianski, and dozens of works by René Lalique. There is an art salon with a library, and a cinema room where the chef prepares the popcorn.
The concierge is available around the clock, including a shuttle within Courchevel 1850; reception, room service and security are also 24/7. Children have a games room with the latest consoles, video games and board games, and a nanny is available on request. Rooms have an iPad, Apple TV and Chromecast, a Nespresso machine and Lalique bathroom products.
ALYAS by Sylvestre Wahid. A panoramic gastronomic restaurant looking out over the mountains. Chef Sylvestre Wahid describes his cooking here as the power of the Alps, the fire that elevates and the Mediterranean that inspires. The menu the hotel published for 2026 is a single tasting menu of eight sequences chosen by the chef, with a wine or non-alcoholic pairing: Roscoff crab with caviar, Bay of Seine scallop with beetroot, sea bass roasted on Himalayan salt with black truffle, Costières pigeon, matured cheeses by Bernard Mure-Ravaud (Meilleur Ouvrier de France) and the chef’s own version of gulab jamun.
Wine cellar and tasting room. The cellar hosts private tastings.
Prohibition Bar. A hidden bar in the spirit of the 1920s, with rare spirits, cocktails and table games, for tea time or after hours. The 2026 list includes the Lys Martagon signature cocktail on Beluga vodka and a Speakeasy Royal made with Perrier-Jouët.
Ycone desserts. Pastry chef Yazid Ichemrahen (Ycone Paris) created a collection of desserts for the hotel which, according to Lys Martagon, is served only here. Pastries can be ordered in advance.
The 280 m² spa is designed in Art Deco and Art Nouveau lines: an indoor pool, a waterfall wall, a relaxation lounge, a steam room, a sauna, an ice fountain, a rain shower, indoor and outdoor hot tubs and aquabike. A tisanerie serves herbal infusions. The two treatment rooms work with Olivier Claire: facials, body treatments and massages.
The pool and spa are a private space for hotel guests. The 60 m² fitness room is deliberately set in another part of the hotel so the spa stays quiet: professional equipment, a punching bag and TRX, with training, yoga, Pilates and personal coaching indoors or outdoors.
