Five nights in the week the hotel opens, or seven in late January. At Aman Le Mélézin this winter those two shapes of trip carry different things with them. The shorter one adds a Trois Vallées lift pass for every day booked. The longer one adds two evenings out on the mountain after dark.
Both sit on top of what the hotel includes anyway: breakfast, then lunch or dinner, and not only in its own dining rooms.
New this December
What changes at Aman Le Mélézin this season
The hotel reopens with a new Japanese restaurant, a children’s room a third bigger than before, and a terrace grill back for a second winter.
- Akari takes the place Nama held. Sashimi, sushi, Wagyu and otoro tuna, and ramen after a cold day. Lunch runs 12.00–13.30, dinner 19.00–21.30 daily, and the restaurant takes bookings from people not staying at the hotel
- The Kids’ Club grows from 66 to 90 square metres and is rebuilt for two age groups at once, small children and teenagers. A dedicated host is there every day from 12.00 to 21.00
- Yakiniku returns to the terrace. Premium cuts grilled at your own table over embers, above the Bellecôte piste. February to April, lunch only, 12.00–14.45, weather permitting
- Ski touring by night joins the activity list: skins on at the hotel door, a climb at dusk, then a descent by torchlight with the village below
- The Library was refurbished in 2025 and now serves the Akari menu — lunch over the sunny terrace, or dinner by the fire
- The Bar has a new menu of light bites to go with what the hotel calls Courchevel’s largest collection of sake and Japanese whisky. Cocktail masterclass every Wednesday at 18.00: three signature drinks, one mocktail, recipes to take home

The rooms have been moving too. The Chambres Ski Piste — ten of them, more than any other category — were completely renovated across 2024 and 2025.
Dates are simple this year. Aman Le Mélézin opens on 10 December 2026 and closes on 4 April 2027, after breakfast on the final morning. Everything below sits inside that window.

Offer one
Mountain Escape: five nights and a daily lift pass
10–18 December 2026 and 27 March – 3 April 2027
- Five nights or more
- A Les Trois Vallées lift pass for each day of the stay, matched to the number of nights booked
- One outdoor activity per person: the after-dark toboggan parade, or a torchlight ski descent
These are the two ends of the season. The December window opens with the hotel; the spring one runs to within a day of its last morning, 4 April.

Offer two
Mountain Nights: seven nights and two evenings out
10 January – 5 February and 21 February – 26 March 2027
- Seven nights or more
- Two outdoor activities per person, chosen from ski touring by night, the after-dark toboggan parade and a torchlight ski descent
- No lift pass in this one — the nights are what it buys
Both offers apply to new bookings only and are not combined with other offers. Activities run to a programme, need booking ahead and depend on availability, and blackout dates apply. We confirm all of it at the time of booking.

Before the offers
What every stay includes anyway
- Half board: breakfast, and lunch or dinner — at the hotel or at five partner restaurants in Courchevel
- The wellness floors: heated indoor pool, two Jacuzzis, sauna, hammam, cold plunge
- Morning wellness classes, scheduled daily
- The Kids’ Zone, for children from 2 to 18
- A shuttle inside Courchevel 1850, from 07.00 to 01.00
- The ski room with its ski-valet service
- In-room refreshments and soft drinks

The dining half of that list is worth reading twice, because it reaches well beyond the building. We took it apart separately in where to eat in Courchevel 1850.
Choosing between them
Which offer fits your dates
| If you | Ask for | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Ski every day | Mountain Escape | It is the only one with the lift pass |
| Travel with non-skiers | Mountain Nights | Mountain Escape is built around a lift pass a non-skier will not use |
| Have only five nights | Mountain Escape | Mountain Nights starts at seven |
| Want February half-term | Neither, and book early | Mountain Nights leaves out 6–20 February; Mountain Escape does not run in February at all |

After dark
What the evening activities actually are
- Torchlight ski descent. A descent on skis after dark, the group carrying the lights
- Toboggan parade. An organised evening on sledges. Courchevel’s own sledge run drops two kilometres from 1850 down to 1550 through the trees and is lit from end to end, with a free gondola back up
- Ski touring by night. Skins on, a climb from the hotel, a torchlit descent with Courchevel 1850 behind you
- Les Prés de la Croix. Not part of either offer, but the hotel is running it again: a snowmobile ride at dusk from La Tania to a mountain chalet, fondue or hotpot by a log fire, and a five-course menu by a private chef on Friday evenings. Children sled under the stars; the way home is by toboggan or snowbike, then a taxi

How to reach Courchevel 1850
- By air: Chambéry 95 km, Grenoble 125 km, Lyon–Saint-Exupéry 176 km, Geneva 179 km. The Courchevel altiport sits inside the ski area and takes private flights
- By train: to Moûtiers, then roughly half an hour by road
- With us: private transfers, helicopter flights and instructors, arranged with the booking
The hotel sits on the Bellecôte piste itself, 200 metres from the village. More on the resort and its other addresses is on our Courchevel 1850 page, and two more hotels stand on the same piste: Le Saint Roch, which reopens on 18 December, and Lys Martagon.
