The Alpe d’Huez is one of the largest ski resorts in French Alps. The station is at the altitude of 1,860 to 3,330 m above the sea level in the Yuez commune of the department of Isere.
How to get there: Geneva airport - 220 km, Lyon - 150 km, Grenoble - 65 km. The nearest railway station is Grenoble (63 km).
Slopes, slopes, ski lifts: The station is notable for being the first international category ski station, as well as one of the largest and highest mountain stations in Europe.
