Les Deux Alpes is a French ski resort located in the center of the Alpine mountain massif of Uzan, in the department of Isère. The station is located at the altitude of 1650 m above the sea level, at the foot of one of Europe’s largest glaciers, and provides skiers and snowboarders with the opportunity to skate all year round. This is one of the most high-mountainous skiing areas associated with off-piste skiing area of Vallon de la Meiž.
How to get there: Grenoble airport - 120 km, Lyon airport - 160 km, Geneva airport - 220 km, the nearest railway station - Grenoble 70 (km).
Trails, slopes, lifts: 104 ski runs (225 m), of which black trails are 14, reds are 18, blue is 45, green is 27. The total number of lifts is 53. The difference in altitude is 1300-3600 m. The number of snow cannons : 211.
Cross-country skiing: 25 km.
Entertainment: The resort has a large selection of winter sports: mountaineering, skiing, freestyle, skating, sledging, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, snowpark, slalom, moonlight riding, mini golf, helicopter rides, paragliding, walks Over the glacier.
For children: the Le Des Alpes resort was awarded the category "Family plus mountains": skating here is adapted to any level of preparation. For children there is a recreation center, where kindergarten is located and next to it is the children’s skiing area.
