Take off at the foot of the slopes of Val Thorens from the resort’s new helipad.

Come and experience unique sensations, led by professional mushers.
We run this activity from Monday until Friday in the morning. The ride takes 30 minutes per session.
We have two sleds which can start together and three sleds in February (Please don’t exceed 150kg per sled.)
This activity is open from 2 years-old. We don’t recommend to pregnant women because it sometimes presents shakes.

The VT Fun Ride, a funny course strewn with obstacles, has arrived for the first time in France. Val Thorens has created a 900 metre course with more than 50 game modules using all the senses thanks to sound modules and physical interaction. Snow tunnels, bridges, spirals, banked turns - 3 minutes of action designed for skiers and snowboarders of all ages who want to have fun.

Embark on a wild adventure, just a short distance from the resort; a timeless journey beneath the frozen Lac du Lou.
After putting on a waterproof drysuit and diving equipment (compressed neoprene drysuit, waterproof gloves, diving mask), it’s time for 20 minutes of glacial exploration.
This may not qualify as an extreme sporting activity, but it certainly isn’t without its thrills; the adrenalin mounts as soon as you leave the outside world and slide beneath the surface of the ice. Feel the water around you, see how the light plays and the stream of bubbles marking the rhythm of your own breathing - discover a new world!
Access the lake on snow shoes or cross country skis (40 minutes), followed by a 30-minute ice diving session supervised by our professional diving instructors (includes equipment briefing), then it’s back to the resort on snowshoes or skis.
Open to anyone aged 16 and over, even if you have never been diving before.

Discover the highest ice-racing track in Europe. The Val Thorens Drivers’ School wants to initiate you to a number of new sensations.
Steering, counter-steering, braking….all the techniques are tried under the watchful eye of a trained professional .
The Ice Driving Val Thorens welcomes you on the « Alain Prost’s » ice-racing track of VT:

- Width : 10 to 12 m
- Circuit officially recognized to welcome the “Trophée Andros” races

The Ice Driving Val Thorens driving school gives you the opportunity to try ice karting.
A 300-m long by 5-m wide ice run is specially set up for karting at the Alain Prost driving circuit centre.
It’s fun to do with friends or family, and great for trying out the sensations of sliding around on the ice for the first time.
Get there using the free shuttles from the P3 car park.
Ice karting sessions can be booked throughout the week.

Do you enjoy skiing in untouched snow, carrying out jumps, going to the snowpark or halfpipe? Do you want to learn new moves? Well now you can do just that in total safety thanks to the airbag!
The airbag is a fall cushion used to absorb the impact of your fall through the air.
The giant air cushion is the perfect solution if you want to learn or improve your freestyle skiing or snowboard technique.
Free entertainment on Monday and Tuesday evenings from 5pm. The Airbag is located next to ’Le Roc’ dag lift at the Rond Point des Pistes.
